A new project for me these last few months has been creating designs of well known places around my home town, Chester. It started because a friend asked me to make an illustration of the Queen's Park Suspension Bridge as in July the community was going to celebrate it's centenary with a party. The local residents association used it to promote the event.
I also designed a 1923 sepia coloured version for the posters.
I had good feedback on both designs and It got me thinking, which other parts of this beautiful city would I like to capture? So I've been enjoying choosing locations and interesting angles to showcase Chester, to appeal to tourists and to locals alike:  these include the Groves by the river Dee, the Eastgate Rows and the famous Eastgate clock.
The designs will be available as art prints in my Etsy shop - see SHOP link in the menu - and will grow over time....so keep checking!
